Rhonda Weaver, Nominated by Doors of Hope
Rhonda volunteers at the Doors of Hope office two days a week, fielding calls, welcoming front doors guests and assisting their admissions/intake office with various administrative tasks. Staff say that she is kind, considerate and helpful to office staff as well as clients and prospective clients.
They say that her lovely smile and helpful attitude make their work load a little lighter and their offices quite a bit brighter. In addition to her administrative work, Rhonda also serves as a peer mentor/coach to one of their clients in the Doors of Hope reentry program. An accomplished writer who has worked hard to overcome her own struggles through addiction and loss, her poetry brings hope and healing to many.
Rhonda will receive a certificate from Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 Amazon Gift Card courtesy of Guaranty Trust Company.
