HABIT seeks volunteers and their pet(s) for therapy programs

HABIT is a nonprofit group of volunteers working together to promote the bond between people and animals. As a program of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, HABIT coordinates volunteers and their pets for animal-assisted therapy programs for people of all ages.

Thanks to a grant from the Office of Criminal Justice Programs, they have expanded to Middle Tennessee! HABIT of Middle Tennessee will work to bring animal-assisted therapy to those who have experienced trauma, abuse or neglect and they need volunteers!

This information meeting is for people who would like to volunteer with their dog, cat or rabbit as well as agencies who would like to have visits from HABIT animals.

Please do NOT bring your animal to this meeting. The meeting is free and does not put you under any obligation to volunteer.
