Cynthia Yue, Nominated by Feed America First
Cynthia has been one of the most dedicated youth volunteers that Feed America First has ever seen! Cynthia began volunteering during her freshman year at Central Magnet High School. She initially needed volunteer hours for school. Once she completed her required hours, she never stopped coming! Week after week, Cynthia would be in the Feed America First warehouse with a smile on her face, ready to sort and repackage food for our neighbors in need. This continued throughout her four years of high school. That’s right- Cynthia has volunteered with Feed America First nearly every single week for the past four years! Staff say that they have been so proud and thankful for her dedication, as well as her fun-loving attitude and bright spirit. They added that Cynthia always brought such a fun and happy energy to Feed America First. Cynthia recently moved to Washington, D.C. to attend George Washington University. Feed America First and Rutherford County are forever thankful for all her volunteer efforts in our community.
