Sammi Knell, Nominated by Carpe Artista
Sammi is an accomplished vocalist and has a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Music from Bryan College. She has assisted Carpe Artista in the volunteer coordination at Depot Days in Smyrna. She is also involved in the planning of the upcoming Carpe Artista F.A.N. Week & Simply Smyrna Celebration in June.
Staff say that where she really shines is with students. Her love of students & teaching is obvious to all those around her. Currently, Sammi is a volunteer mentor in the Carpe Studio leadership development program. She volunteered her time & talent, this past summer, during Carpe Artista Musical Theater Camp & Jukebox Hero Rock Camp. The students were challenged to prepare their Friday performance in just a week. Sammi came alongside of them to share her talents & to boost their confidence. She is great at encouraging these young students and she has a contagious smile & laugh, that puts them at ease.
