The Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary Club is hosting the 6th Annual Boro Barbecue Festival at Cannonsburgh Village on May 10th-11th. On the afternoon of May 10th, the Swine & Wine event will be held accompanied by live music. On May 11th, the Dr. George Smith Barbecue Brawl – a Kansas City Competitive Series Competition – and the High School Steak-Off Competition will be held. The Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary Club is in need of volunteers for the night May 10th beginning around 5:30 p.m. Volunteers are also needed for the Dr. George Smith Barbecue Brawl and the High School Steak-Off Competition on May 11th beginning around 9:00 a.m.
