Rhonda Anderson, Nominated by Ferrell Hollow Farm Senior Horse & Cat Sanctuary
Rhonda started volunteering with Ferrell Hollow in January. She loves animals, has cats and wanted to learn about horses and overcome her fear of being around them. Staff say that she does a fantastic job interacting with all of the animals, is kind and soft spoken and the animals respond well to her.
Ferrell has mostly Draft breed horses which are quite large and can be intimidating due to their size, but they are laid back and sweet. Rhonda has been extremely dedicated in volunteering her time with both the senior cats and the senior horses, is eager to take on new tasks and learn as much as she can. Staff says that they love having her help them with their special senior cats and horses!
