American Red Cross is in need of disaster workers to continue the response to the recent back-to-back massive disasters the country has faced. Sheltering, feeding and supporting tens of thousands of people impacted by the devastating wildfires and hurricanes which have occurred in the last several weeks is where the Red Cross needs your support the most. You are urged to commit two weeks (in person or virtually) to supporting families suffering from these large scale disasters.
Who- anyone 18 years or older who will pass a background check
What- sheltering, feeding, logistics, mass care, etc.
When- NOW! This is a two week commitment. Our current volunteers are growing weary as they have been supporting since the start. Please consider donating just two weeks that will change your life.
Where- A large disaster site. Volunteers who wish to deploy in person may be sent anywhere in the country that they agree to serving. -virtual roles will be performed at home as all Red Cross offices are closed due to COVID.
