Possibility Place is a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and they hold a Possibility Store two times a year.
Their adults earn “bucks” by completing jobs and volunteering in the community and they use those “bucks” to purchase items from their Possibility Store. This gives these adults a great deal of pride in earning the “bucks” and purchasing these items independently. They purchase gifts for family, friends, and even items for themselves.
Could you help stock the Christmas Possibility Store?
They need:
• New gifts for women: jewelry, perfume, body sprays, lotions, gift sets, gloves, scarves, hats, candles makeup, nail polish, etc.)
• New gifts for men: body sprays, gift sets, gloves, scarves, hats, etc.
• New gifts for teens and children: gift sets, toys, video games, crafts, books, board games, stuffed animals, 100 piece puzzles, etc.
• Also: hygiene items (body wash sets, special soaps) popular music CD’s, gift cards, candy, snacks, keychains, etc.
Items can be dropped off at Riverdale Baptist Church, 307 Warrior Drive in Murfreesboro, at any time between 9am and 3pm Monday through Thursday.
