Patsy Brown, Nominated by International Folkfest
Patsy is a well-known volunteer in Rutherford County. Not only is she the rock around which her large family revolves, but she is a good neighbor and always working in her church – and other area churches ( particularly as a pianist/organist). She has been a longtime volunteer at the Sam Davis Home in Smyrna. As she has worked with International Folkfest, she is always “the one” who takes on whatever needs to be done, no matter what. In particular, she has served as a guide (and substitute guide) for their visiting folk troupes. She also has worked to help provide meals for them during their eight days here. The Folkfest team say that it would be difficult to think about doing the work without her. Patsy will receive a certificate from of Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 Amazon Gift Card courtesy of Guaranty Trust Company.
