Olivia Throckmorton, Nominated by Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities (YEAH!)
Olivia has been volunteering with YEAH! since 2010. Prior to coming on as a volunteer she was a student camper from 2004-2009. Olivia plays the bass and the guitar mostly and knows enough of a couple other instruments to get a kid who has never played before started. Olivia says that her absolute favorite part of volunteering with the program is getting to see the same kids come back year after year and mature. Staff say that they are so glad to have Olivia in the YEAH! family and can’t wait for her to be a part of Rock Camps again this summer! Olivia will receive a certificate from Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 gift certificate courtesy of Guaranty Trust.
