Leanne Tritch, Nominated by Stepping Stones Safe Haven
Leanne serves as a volunteer at Stepping Stones Safe Haven, a homeless shelter for women and children. Leanne wears so many hats at the shelter. She plays a significant role on their fundraising team. She also works at the shelter on a weekly-sometimes daily basis- making sure they have enough people to staff the shelter. She has completed too many projects to count to improve the beauty of their building. Painting, sanding, sewing, moving furniture-the list goes on and on.
She also is their go-to when anything needs to be made “pretty.” Staff say that she is extremely handy and does an amazing job making any event, meeting, decor at the shelter, etc. extra special. She also does a beautiful job loving on their clients. She talks to them in such a supportive and meaningful manner. She is the definition of what it means to be filled with the light of Jesus. Staff say they are incredibly blessed to have her as an important part of their organization.
