June-Aug. 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Duties
•Answer phones and make gift shop sales
•Give tours of the historic house and grounds
Summer Camps (THIS NEED HAS BEEN FILLED)
School of the Soldier- June 5-9, 2017
Young Historians Summer Camp- June 19-23, 2017
Jane Davis Academy- July 10-14, 2017
Natural History Summer Camp- July 17-21, 2017
Hours: 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Volunteer Opportunities
•Assist Education Director in camp material before the camps begin
•Can volunteer for one camp or all; part of a day or the whole week
•Assist with before care or after care (Before care- 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.; After care- 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.)
•Lead a group of campers for the week
•Lead a program for part of the day
•Assist with lunch relief for camp counselors
Field Trips
Throughout the year, mostly in November and May
Usually around 9:00 a.m. ending at 1:00 p.m. at the latest
Duties
•Lead education programs
•Lead groups of students through the historic house
