Habitat for Humanity seeks paid Site Supervisor

Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor who is passionate for Habitat’s mission. The goal of a Construction Site Supervisor is to construct quality, simple, decent, affordable houses in a professional manner while that provides a meaningful experience for our volunteers and future homeowners.

                Interested applicants will be responsible for coordinating construction activities and verifying performance of subcontractors while adhering to our daily construction schedule.   Applicant will also be required to safely and successfully lead and instruct skilled and unskilled volunteers in the construction of new homes and repair projects.

              Applicant must be at least 21 years old with a High School diploma or GED.   Construction Experience preferred. College or vocational education preferred.  Must be able to work 40 hours including Saturdays and participate in Habitat events during weekends or evenings as needed.  Applicant should have good communication skills, not restricted from working on ladders or atop structures, be physically able to do manual labor including lifting 60 lbs., and the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and/or crawl for extended amounts of time.  Applicant must also have a valid Tennessee driver’s license, clean driving record, no criminal background, and a pass a drug test.
