The Gatsby Party returns for a third year on March 12 at Stones River Country Club in Murfreesboro at 7 p.m. The Alzheimer’s Association invites members of the Murfreesboro community to attend.
The Gatsby Party is a roaring 20’s, glitz event that offers entertainment, music and food while raising awareness of a disease that affects more than 5 million people worldwide. Since its inaugural year, the event has become a can’t-miss night out in Murfreesboro!
“The Gatsby Party is a throwback to one of the best eras in American History. It’s an opportunity to enjoy the entertainment of the roaring twenties, like big band music and swing dancing, but still have fun with unique eats, an open bar, and even a photo booth,” shares Scott Kimberly, attorney at law. “You will have a blast in this atmosphere. And to make it better? You will also learn how a modern organization is fighting against one of the deadliest diseases in the world. It’s a can’t-miss event.”
Alzheimer’s disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and affects more than 110,000 Tennesseans. The Alzheimer’s Association Mid South Chapter provides reliable information and care consultation; created supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced public policy changes. Events like The Gatsby Party help the Alzheimer’s Association to continue providing programs and services in the area.
