Enjoy the cool October weather outside at the 10th Fall Kids Fest — sponsored by The Avenue Murfreesboro. This FREE popular event takes place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at The Avenue Murfreesboro and features more than 40 booths of local businesses, and the kids will love going around trick-or-treating (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.), lining up for the Kids Halloween Costume parade (line up at 1 p.m.) as well as enjoying inflatables, face painter, a trackless train, a balloon artist and food vendors! Kids can also pick up one little pumpkin to take home, too. There will be prizes given away throughout the day on the stage as well as other prizes that you have to register for — register to win that at the Rutherford Parent booth! There will also be several stage performances, like Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers — a pirate-themed band the kids will love! In case of inclement weather, the rain date is set for Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
They are looking for volunteers to help run the pumpkin booth and the inflatables.
