Candy Russell, Nominated by Amelia’s Closet
Candy has been volunteering with Amelia’s Closet since the concept phase in the summer of 2014. She is compassionate, smart, humble, creative and always willing to get dirty to get a job accomplished, or dress up to attend community meetings. She fills so many roles each week from picking up donated clothing at Big B, sorting, answering volunteer calls, being a personal shopper at their client appointments, and leading as their vice president and volunteer coordinator. She also teaches ladies each week in the Reformer’s Unanimous jail ministry. Amelia’s Closet could not run as smoothly without the sacrificial help of Candy.
