Join Stones River Service Day! Stones River Service Days are monthly opportunities to get involved at the battlefield. Each month will feature a different project followed by an optional guided program.
On August 18th, they will be cleaning the historic Hazen Brigade Monument wall. Check in begins at 8:30 AM. Bring a picnic lunch and join us afterward to learn about the Hazen Brigade and the fight for Hell’s Half Acre.
To participate, please sign up by calling (615)-893-9501 or emailing claire_casey@partner.nps.gov with your name, phone number, email, and how many volunteers you will have with you. Minors will need a volunteer form with a parent signature to participate.
Volunteers should be prepared to work outside. Wear closed toe shoes, bring a water bottle, and bring gloves if you have them.
