Amy Norville, Nominated by Child Advocacy Center
Amy has served our community for nearly two decades as a police officer for Murfreesboro Police Department. She also serves her community by volunteering her time helping local non profits and coalitions.
Amy is currently serving on the Child Advocacy Center’s annual Hometown Heroes Walk for Children planning committee. This walk is to promote National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Amy assists in all aspects of the planning from logistics to promotion. She helps to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.
Amy also volunteers her time with the Rutherford County Coalition Against Child Abuse. She helped the coalition secure a location for the annual presentation of the William C. Whitesell Award for outstanding dedication to Justice. She volunteered to work with the City to provide the coalition with a podium, microphone, and speakers. Without her time and effort, the ceremony would not have taken place.
Amy will receive a certificate from Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 Amazon Gift Card courtesy of Guaranty Home Mortgage Corporation.
