Alzheimer’s walk seeks hundreds of volunteers Nov. 10

On Saturday, November 10th the Alzheimer’s Association will be having it’s 19th annual Rutherford County Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year they are expecting 2000 walkers that will raise money to help support the association mission to end Alzheimer’s. This year will be honoring caregivers for people with Alzheimer’s or some other form of dementia!

They will need volunteers to help with setting up and tearing down, registration, parking, route helpers, Paws for A Cause and the Kid’s Zone. Volunteers should expect to help make sure their sponsors area has everything they need.

There are two different shifts or volunteers can work a full day. Shifts are as follows:

1st— 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. or
2nd —8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or
Full Day—5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..

Letters of completion of volunteerism will be given that day!
