Join A Soldier’s Child Foundation to celebrate the children of our fallen heros! They will be shopping and wrapping for more than 150 children that have birthdays in the month of February on Monday, January 18 and Tuesday, January 19.
Shopping will take place Monday from 2pm-6:30pm at the Walmart on Old Fort Parkway. Experienced shoppers may start at 2pm while first time volunteers should meet at 4:30 inside the garden center entrance for orientation and to get assignments. There is no cost to participate.
All of the gifts will be wrapped Tuesday from 11am-6:00pm at Christian Life Church on Cason Lane. You do not have to stay the whole time. If you have even an hour to give, it would be much appreciated.

Hello. My sons need a few more volunteer hours. They’re 14 & 18 years old. Could they help shop Monday from 4:30-6:30 and then wrap after school on Tuesday? Or is there another opportunity that would be more fitting.
That would be a great opportunity for your boys. 🙂
Is there any time on the weekends that they could work because they play high school baseball and have practice till 6:00 pm. They are usually free on weekends.
