Lake Summar, Nominated by Candle Wishes Foundation
Lake has been volunteering with Candle Wishes for many years since she was in high school. She now serves on the Board of Directors and is doing incredible work for the organization including grant writing and project management. She is also instrumental in the current development and planning of the new event, Boro Adventure Fest. In partnership with Murfreesboro’s Parks and Recreation Dept., Boro Adventure Fest will be on April 21st at Barfield Park. The event will include hiking, live music, campfires, food, hammocking, slacklining, rock climbing and so much more. Lake will receive a certificate from Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 Amazon Gift Card courtesy of Guaranty Trust Company.
