Karen Stoltz, Nominated by Alive Hospice
Karen has been a volunteer at Alive Hospice for over a year. She meets no stranger and is always finding new ways to assist those who come across her path. Currently, she works at the Murfreesboro residence greeting visitors at the receptionist desk, visiting patients and providing a much-welcomed lunch for the visitors and staff once a month. Karen has taken over the organization of their snack closet, better known as “The Narnia Closet,” to ensure everything is fresh. She offers a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, a compassionate heart and a smiling face. Karen sincerely loves every minute she spends with their patients, visitors and staff, and staff say that they love her!
