Stones River Manor was Murfreesboro’s first assisted living facility and remains Rutherford County’s only faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community. They provide independent living apartments and five levels of assisted living care. Their Assured Care Center, a 22-bed Alzheimer’s and dementia care facility, was the first licensed Alzheimer’s care facility in an assisted living center in the state of Tennessee. The Manor also offers a full slate of on-campus clinical and therapy services.
Opportunities to serve ON SITE:
Their activities department and maintenance department are the two most commonly associated with volunteer work, but scouts have taken on special projects, groups often visit to provide entertainment programs and individuals may visit one-on-one with residents. Adult women are invited to join their Ladies Auxiliary Program.

They have an annual homecoming week, men’s picnic, ladies tea, yard sale, crafts fair and a number of other events each year.
