Murfreesboro Rotary Club


What they do:

They provide service to others, promote high ethical standards, and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through their fellowship of business, professional and community leaders. 

Key Projects: 

The “Dictionary Project” – They provide dictionaries to third grade students in Murfreesboro. They provide volunteers as traffic control for The Middle Half and the Fenton Payne & Fred 5K Run. They are in charge of ticket sales for the Uncle Dave Macon Days Festival. They participate in Red Cross blood drives, provide bell ringers for the Salvation Army, provide trash pick-up on the Greenway and they support Greenhouse Ministries as a sponsor of the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. They also provide funds to a number of other local service organizations, several international projects and they support the Rotary mission to eradicate Polio in the world. Their primary fund raiser is a Pancake Breakfast in December.

Qualifications for membership? An adult person of good character and good business, professional and/or community reputation. A member of the club must serve as the sponsor and recommend the potential Rotarian for membership. 


Dues charged to members: $190 Quarterly (Includes weekly meals)


Meetings: Every Tuesday at noon at the Stones River Country Club
