Anna has volunteered with Avalon Hospice for around a year. She has provided countless hours of companionship for their patients, while juggling two jobs and school. Anna has gone above and beyond just basic companionship. She helps with light housekeeping, brings flowers, plays Scrabble, Uno and does puzzles too. Staff say that Anna is also a wonderful advocate for their patients, making sure that their needs are taken care of. Anna’s gift of friendship and selflessness has touched many lives and they say they are truly blessed to have her. Anna will receive a certificate from Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 gift certificate courtesy of Guaranty Trust.
