Adam Reynolds, Nominated by Portico
Adam has been a faithful volunteer with Asitia for 1 1/2 years. Asitia is an abstinence education program in the public schools in Rutherford County. Adam went through the training process and jumped right into teaching in High Schools. He takes time away from work to talk with students about healthy relationships and the physical and emotional consequences of having sex prior to marriage. Adam says his favorite part about volunteering is “the opportunity to share a different perspective/message than what many of these young adults are hearing from the media and their peers.” Adam is married with two children, both boys. Staff say that they are so grateful for volunteers like Adam who have a heart to do this and enjoy what they do. Adam will receive a certificate from Volunteer Rutherford and a $25 Amazon Gift Card courtesy of Guaranty Trust.
