Bring out your inner rock star with JukeBox Hero

Carpe Artista, one of North Rutherford County’s leading arts organizations is now accepting registrants for it’s 4th annual JukeBox Hero. JukeBox Hero is a unique experience which allows adults of any age and experience level to give in to their dream of being a Rock Star!

For 6 weeks, one evening a week, registrants will be coached by some of the most talented and road experienced musicians in the industry. Participants can expect to learn an instrument from scratch or perfect one they already are familiar with. You’ll learn stage performance, working as a band, song selection, Social Media, Promotion, ticket sales, and more. The 6 week event culminates in a full on Rock Showcase Battle of the Bands. The winning band will receive a 5 hour recording session to create their own music project and an opportunity to play on the main stage at Simply Smyrna Celebration or Smyrna Depot Days!

Registrants will be formed into bands of similar ability and assigned a seasoned band manager who will guide them through the band formation process as they prepare to perform for the final “Battle of the Bands”. During the 6 weeks, bands will be coached by professionals on how to play, sing work as a band and perform. Instructor line up includes musicians who have played with some of the top acts in the world: Randy Smith, Bass (Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, Don Henley, Larry Carlton), Billy Crain, Guitar (The Outlaws, Black Hawk), Tracy Broussard, Drums (Blake Shelton, Jamie O’Neal), Brian Nelson, Drums (Trick Pony, Tracy Byrd), Kevin Ray, Guitar, (Kenny Loggins, Taylor Swift, Ty Herndon) Jay Lowder, Bass (Shania Twain, The Allies) and others noteworthy instructors in Voice, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass & Drums.
